American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA)
ASTA is the world's largest association of travel
professionals. Their 25,000 members include travel agents, and the
companies whose products they sell such as tours, cruises, hotels, car
rentals, etc. They are the leading advocate for travel agents, the
travel industry and the traveling public.
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA)
CLIA is the organization that represents the member
cruise lines to the travel community. CLIA continues to support any
individual or agency location that is interested in developing their
cruise business.
Exclusive Collection
The Exclusive Collection is an alliance of ships of
excellence and something a little out of the ordinary. Each line has its
own particular character and style, suiting varied tastes and
preferences. What they have in common is a commitment to levels of
excellence appreciated by the most discerning traveller. This allliance
represents Hebridean Island Cruises, Orient Express Cruises, Peter
Deilmann Cruises, Radisson Seven Seas Cruises, SeaDeram Yacht Club,
Silversea Cruises, The Yachts of Seabourn and Windstar Cruises.
Florida Caribbean Cruise Association
(FCCA)
The Florida Caribbean Cruise Association represents 11 member lines
operating almost 100 vessels in Florida, Caribbean and Mexican waters.
The FCCA's mandate is to provide a forum for discussion on legislation,
tourism development, port, safety, security and other cruise industry
issues.
Great Lakes Cruising Coalition (GLCC)
The Great Lakes Cruising
Coalition is committed to supporting world
class passenger ship cruising on the Great Lakes. The GLCC is a joint
American-Canadian cooperative venture involving Great Lakes ports,
towns, regions and The St.Lawrence Seaway. It is focused on the quality
of port facilities, memorable shore excursions and a healthy marine
environment.
International Council of Cruise Lines
(ICCL)
International Council of Cruise Lines (ICCL) is to
participate in the regulatory and policy development process and promote
all measures that foster a safe. secure and healthy cruise ship
environment.
National Association of Commissioned Travel Agent (NACTA)
NACTA, Inc. is travel industry's leading national trade
association representing independent contractors, outside sales agents,
cruise and tour oriented agents, group oriented travel professionals and
traditional ARC appointed travel agencies that provide services and
support to such professionals.
Niche Cruising Marketing Alliance (NCMA)
This new alliance is to increase awareness in the agent community about
the concept of niche cruises. A niche cruise is one that appeals to an
audience looking for a different experience.
North West Cruise Ship Association (NWCA)
North West Cruise Ship Association represents nine cruise lines serving
Southeast and South Central Alaska have joined state and federal
regulators in an environmental initiative to improve management
practices and better understand cruise ship waste streams.
Society for the Advancement of Travelers with Handicaps (SATH)
SATH is a non-profit educational organization that has actively
represented travelers with disabilities since 1976. SATH
works vigorously for the creation of a barrier-free environment
(architectural and attitudinal) throughout all segments of the travel
and tourism industry, in the
U.S.
and abroad.

Ship Society
Since
its founding by a small group of dedicated ship enthusiasts in 1946, the
World Ship Society has grown into the largest and most prestigious
international organization dedicated to maritime and naval history.
